“Drawn From Dust”

In recent years Maker has experimented with translating her three-dimensional explorations into two-dimensional images, creating new works by starting with rubbings of the 3-D works onto Japanese paper. It was a natural step in the evolution of her art when she enthusiastically accepted the offer to collaborate with Bud Shark on a print inspired by one of those pieces.
